We Had Our Time is a media studio in New York, founded by Grammy-nominated producer DrewsThatDude. We make music, fine art, and a graphic novel — Relapse: The Ghosts We Can't Leave Behind. The records came first. Everything else grew around them.
That means original music and sync placements on Showtime, ESPN, and NFL campaigns, the Heaven's Gate Collection of limited edition fine art prints, and an ongoing comic being published in real time. Every release is a chapter of the same story.

Drew is a two-time Grammy-nominated producer and graduate of Berklee College of Music. His production and vocal contributions appear on multi-Platinum releases including Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV (5× Platinum, additional production on "How to Hate") and Mac Miller's Swimming (2× Platinum, background vocals on "So It Goes").
Beyond major-label work, Drew has built an independent catalog spanning R&B, hip-hop, ambient, electronic, and cinematic instrumental music — over 20 million streams across platforms, with sync placements across film, television, sports, games, and brand campaigns.
The records came first. The world followed.
Visual work at WHOT is led by Bryson Boutte, whose Heaven's Gate Collection is the studio's flagship art series — twelve zodiac guardians published as numbered limited edition archival giclée prints on 100% cotton Moab Entrada paper. Each work is issued in an edition of fifty with a verified Certificate of Authenticity. Once a sign sells out, it does not return.

Relapse is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel about ambition, memory, and what it costs to chase a dream. It's illustrated by Bryson Boutte and published chapter by chapter. The world has named locations (Steadfast City, West Rose, Segura), a recurring cast, and storylines that expand with each project.
Every record we release is a chapter in it. Every print is a scene from it. The objects in the shop are artifacts out of it. Read Relapse.
